Financing Options

Tuition is $5,000 for Class A and $3,500 for Class B. CDS offers a cash discount of $1,000 for Class "A" and $500 for Class "B" to all students who use their own financial resources. CDS accepts MasterCard and Visa. To receive the discount, always use your own resources before using our financial resources. Many credit card companies will negotiate a lower interest rate on large purchases or may offer balance transfer options at extremely low interest rates.
 
Most over-the-road carriers offer tuition reimbursement to new drivers. On average, new drivers receive $100-$200 per month over and above pay to help get back most, if not all, money invested in training.
 
GUARANTEED FINANCING
Our loan program offers a maximum of $4,000 for Class "A" tuition and a maximum of $2,500 for Class "B" tuition. Students are guaranteed to receive a loan offer. The amount of the loan is based on credit and may require a co-borrower or collateral to increase the amount of the loan. All students will be approved. Loan amounts vary. Balances not covered by the loan can be paid while attending school, but must be cleared before students can test with the DMV and graduate. Loan payments begin approximately 30 days after the scheduled graduation day.
 
Loans will be processed 24-48 hours upon receipt in the CDS office at an interest rate of 21%. Payments average $100-$140 per month. Many trucking companies that offer tuition reimbursement make loan payments directly to the loan company. If a student uses his own resources, the monthly reimbursement is paid directly to the student.

For Class A training, the $1,000 down-payment can be paid over 10 weekends at $l00 each Saturday, or over 4 weeks at $250 each Monday.
 
For Class B training, the $1,000 down-payment can be paid over 7 weekends at $150 each Saturday, or over a 3 week period for full-time training.
