Job Placement

CDS Tractor Trailer Training’s graduates can chose from many companies. Job placement ranges from local, regional and over-the-road. Here are some of the companies our graduates can choose from:

Werner Enterprises, TransAm, Motion Holdings, Roehl, TMC, McElroy, Covenant, Atlantic Bulk Carriers, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, VA Concrete, Updike Industries,  Marten, FFE, KLLM, Givens, U.S. Express, H.O. Wolding, and many more including regional, local and short haul!

Most carriers offer tuition reimbursement to new drivers. On average, a new driver will receive $100-$200 per month over and above pay to help get back most, if not all, the money invested in training.

During training, our student coordinator will meet each student personally to assist in the job placement process. Staff is available to answer questions and help guide students to companies where they will be happy. Recruiters from various carriers make presentations to students and take applications. Students can report to the selected carrier immediately after graduation.

There are no employment contracts to sign! New drivers average $700-$900 weekly their first year!
