CDS offers: Class "A" training: We have 8 tractor-trailers, 10 instructors (2 part-time). This allows students more truck time and better quality training. Most other schools operate with 1 or 2 trucks and 1 or 2 instructors trying to train 10-15 students. At CDS, students train in small groups of 1-3 students per truck and instructor. It's a very good idea to visit a school to observe the training and talk to students before choosing a training program. You are welcome to visit CDS.
Classes are available both full time Monday-Friday and part time Saturday-Sunday. Classes are 20 days long.
Our office staff consists of 5 full time office personnel to assist with enrollment and Job Placement Services. Job placement is our focus from the beginning of training. Students select the carrier they desire from the many to choose from and there are NO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS TO SIGN! We are there to assist with applications, answer questions and guide students to a carrier in which they will be happy and successful.
CDS has 13 funding options along with guaranteed financing available. Even if your credit is weak we will still be able to finance a portion of the tuition. Most carriers offer tuition reimbursement to help new drivers recover most, if not all of their cost of training! Many students may qualify for assistance through college Grants or the Workforce Programs.
